4th course on the architecture of Scarpa CARLO SCARPA AND PHOTOGRAPHY directed by Italo Zannier 5-9 October 2004, Deadline: 2004-09-13 12:00:00 The seminar is organized under the Joint Committee for the knowledge and valorization of the cultural patrimony linked to Carlo Scarpa and his presence in the Veneto, instituited in 2002 by the Ministero per i Beni e le Attività culturali and the Regione del Veneto. The fourth course on Scarpa architecture is led by Italo Zannier, specialist on the history of architectural photography. The course begins with an analysis of architectural photography of the twentieth century, and then enters Scarpa’s world, drawing upon living scholars and photographers who have portrayed his architectural woks. In addition to a series of lectures there will also be seminars and visits to the principal Scarpa projects, where the participants will measure themselves with the reading of the works through their own camera lens. |
